Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
At Blackett Public School, our main focus is on student learning, ensuring every student has access to a wide and engaging variety of learning opportunities, no matter their background. Our students engage with a high-quality curriculum supported by explicit teaching, along with strong programs that promote wellbeing and smooth transitions.
Blackett Public School is proud to be one of the locations for the 100 new Public Preschools. We offer four Inclusive Education classes that support students with diverse intellectual, physical, and emotional needs. Our committed staff work collaboratively with ongoing curiosity and a strong sense of urgency to make a positive difference and maximise learning for every student each day.
Aboriginal Education is both a priority and a shared commitment at Blackett Public School. We value diversity, promote reconciliation, and strive to provide fair outcomes, opportunities, and experiences for our Aboriginal students.
We deeply value our partnerships with parents and the wider community, recognising them as essential to our school’s continued success. Together, we are building a bright future for all our learners. I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about what makes our school unique.
